Belt Finished then taken to a high satin, deep etched and then the edge geometry refined on the 120g lapping wheel so that the edge maintenance is easy.
I had a cart of cheese knives to make for a good customer recently and they wanted damascus, used to make a LOT of Damascus in this combination of alloys and it’s quite nice to re-visit the process, I made a little extra and here it is.
Just the edges finished on stones this time which has saved some time, I don’t feel like this sort of material and etching suit stone finishing process’s but they’ll cut food up just fine
