This is my next round of production knives, the last run I did I felt weren’t “me” enough, so I’ve changed it up a bit. These all feature my favourite combo of core steel and alloy, there’s more work in the wrought iron but I think it’s worth it. The dark ku is something I think the last knives were missing, another slightly more time consuming detail but definitely more me. These have stone finished bevels, not perfect bevels, but stone shaped and 90% there, absolutely fit for purpose but also ready for stones if you’re that way inclined. I recently learnt how to turn wood and I thought it would be a nice solution to these handles, kinda Japanese knife meets European chisel, there’s a reason tool handles are turned and I’m a huge fan of a nice file or chisel handle.
